Hey guys hope you are well, as promised I'm bringing you today my top six tips on losing weight. Losing weight can be a daunting journey but also rewarding if you truly put in the work. With everything in life nothing comes easy and to make changes with your body, mind and life as a whole certain things just have to change.

1. START BEING MORE ACTIVE
The body just want to move, the more active you are the more calories you burn. This means going for a walk after class/work, joining a hike group with friends , jogging in the mornings. you don't necessarily need to commit to a gym right a way,because we've all been there spending your money(coins) on gym membership and ending up going twice a month.

2.START EATING SMALLER PORTIONS
Start eating smaller portions than you usually do, we sometimes don't take notice of how much food we are actually eating, and just by simply reducing it you can start seeing major changes. You can start by switching the size of your plate to a smaller one so you don't have the extra space to want to fill up. Eating smaller meals puts you in a caloric deficit which helps you to lose weight.

3.LIMIT/STOP FAST FOODS(EATING OUT)
I know eating out and ordering food online and have it delivered cooked and ready to eat is so convenient and easy. That's what we love easy on the go food, but to truly change and lose weight its best to cook your own food and cook it healthier, instead of frying, steam it or put in the oven instead. even though you order "healthy" foods you don't actually know what they used to cook that food , its easy to be aware of what you are eating if you do it yourself.

4.DRINK MORE WATER
When I say drink more water not a glass or two at least 2-3 L of water a day. drinking more water not only helps in flushing out toxins it also aids in eliminating bloat and keeps you hydrated and fuller for longer. Carry a bottle with you on the go so you don't have an excuse to buy juice and sugar filled drinks.

5.GET RID OF THE EXCUSES
We all have 24 hours in a day, and options to make the right choice whether its to go for that 30 minute jog, to drink water instead of alcohol or juice and sodas or simply to stay home and cook a healthy meal. Once you start taking responsibility of your choices it'll greatly help you on this journey.

6.BE PATIENT
Losing weight is not a one week/ month thing and you've already reached your fitness and weight goals. its a process and a half, it all depends on the effort you are willing to put in in order to get the results you want. Enjoy the journey and have fun while you are at it. it can get lonely especially when no one around you is into losing weight trust me I've been there, you just need to persevere and before you know it the results will start showing.
